Business Owners looking to network, heres a little advise. There are a lot of Local little Networking groups and a variety of larger ones. Networking groups can be a group of business owners that meet for coffee and make connections with one another or a paid group like a BNI or a Chamber. Which ever fits your comfort level try not to limit yourself to just one group. Make certain the group has good ethics, a proven record of excellent business owners that are in good standing in the community and well established so they can provide you with the help you are looking for.

Joining a networking group can really help build your connection list, build your confidence, offer advice and suggestions on how to set up and or run your business. While other groups have resources that can help you inject yourself into the community like a Chamber of Commerce.

While some are "free" some are paid memberships and others may just ask you cover the cost of your meal.
